Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #37

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #37 Thankful For... Create a project about something you are thankful for.

I don't do nearly enough layouts of my honey. So here is one, I am definitely thankful for him! The heart is cut from Home Accents and the title is from Paisley.

Wee Ha!

Both the kids took a short horse ride before Halloween... I was really surprised they were up for it. So, we tried to get them to say yee ha! (that's the Texan in me coming out :) Little Audrey would only say wee ha. Those are the things I love to scrapbook!

Viola's Boutique

Over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog, we had the opportunity to play with some crocheted items from Viola's Boutique...aren't they the prettiest heart appliques?!

I used Gypsy Wanderings for the scallop background and Wild Card for the sentiment.

Winter Woodland cartridge was used for the sentiment and holly leaves.

Ice Roading in Phoenix

As I was on the treadmill earlier this week I saw on TV that Alex Debogorski was going to be doing a book signing in town. Dante loves Ice Road Truckers, so right after school I surprised him and we went straight over. What a nice guy and great experience!

I have a layout that incorporates children's artwork over at the Sussies Blog!! It may be one of my new favorites:)

Stuff I Like

Pudding Pops- Granted, we use the little bathroom cups to make them and stick all kinds of goodies in the popsicles (marshmallows, crunched up cookies...) but they are so yummy!
All My Children- I'll admit it :) I have watched faithfully since high school. I love watching it late at night while scrapbooking.

Temperatures finally below 90 degrees and above 70. Gives me an excuse to wear boots, or flip flops depending on the mood.

Have a great day!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #35

Challenge #35 Color/Shape Challenge: Use the color GREEN and a CIRCLE shape somewhere on your Cricut

I used the Winter Woodland cartridge for both the yum, and the circles. I don't use the font on that cartridge enough, it is very versatile!! And, I think the circles were a bunch of snowballs, or something like that (it was a shift function.)

Happy Friday

I was organizing some past photos, and found this card from a while back, simple but I liked it!

And... I was a cupcake for Halloween, yep those are sprinkles :) Have a great weekend!
